If you are still experiencing this issue, please try clearing your cache/cookies in your browser unless you have un-sync'd assessment data. We are aware of and investigating reports of users experiencing blank pages or long load times when attempting to access the mCLASS Assessment page. Our Engineering team is working to identify the root cause of and implement a fix for this issue. Some users have advised that clearing cache/cookies within their browsers has resolved the issue. While this may prove to be a successful troubleshooting step, we do want to make sure teachers are not clearing cache/cookies if they have un-sync'd assessment data. To: District Office Staffs, and Silverado High School Staffs ALERT TYPE: Windows Workstation Updates DATE: Wednesday 2/4/26 DETAILS: Windows Workstation Updates What Is Happening Starting on Wednesday February 4th, 2026 at 8:00 AM, Windows Updates will be made available to Windows based computer systems. You may see a message balloon stating “Software changes are required. Your IT department requires changes to the software on your computer. Click here for options” You may click on the message balloon and proceed to install the updates or wait for Windows to automatically install the updates later. Automatic Install and Restart On Wednesday February 11th, 2026 at 11:30AM, if the updates have not yet been installed, the updates will be installed automatically and may be followed by a computer restart. If your computer is not powered on at this time, the Windows updates and possible restart will occur once the computer and Windows has started. Why are these updates important? Every second Tuesday of every month (Patch Tuesday), Microsoft releases updates to supported versions of Windows and other Microsoft products. These updates may include corrections, new features, and security related changes. The Windows updates being installed on your computer are focused on critical and security updates for Windows. Critical and security updates are major corrections to Windows that Microsoft has identified as being a high priority that fix known problem issues with Windows to include potential security issues that could make the computer vulnerable to malware (from websites, email, etc). -Help Desk Support Team
